Just out of curiosity, I was wondering how many people keep a written log of the water quality in their tank like by date or something. IE. NH3 N02 N03 and PH at a min.

Ive been thinking about doing it, just so i have a record, but just curious :)

I tried to but it didn't last very long. Most of my readings are fairly steady so it wouldn't help me much.

I keep one.

Since I have multiple tanks, I can't always remember what each one is at, and I like to be sure, so I have a little log for each tank. It's just a small notebook, I keep by or near each tank, and then I write in water stats, if I added any new fish, if they have a disease....etc. It's been working pretty well for me. :)

Though I don't do water tests all that often, they go in the tank log. Water changes, tank maintanance, additions & subtractions of fish, along with any observations go in there. I'd never be able to keep it all straight by memory alone.

I don't test my water unless there's some problem in the tank, so there's not much need of my keeping a log :p

I do. I can't keep anything straight otherwise. I don't test that often, but I have a page in a notebook for each of my six tanks (including the one for the crabs) and anytime I do anything I note it. Otherwise I can't even keep track of when I chagned water in what tank.

Well i have a log but i always forget to write in it. does that count ? lol
