Water High When Spawning

Hi as title suggests this is a question on water hight

So what is the water higt needed for spawning i read about 6-7" of water high is this true ??

I'm going with 7 inches when I am confident they are ready to spawn. How long did you condition for?

hi thanks for the info i have lowered the water level to 7" before i saw this post so that works out lol

they have now been conditioned for 2 weeks i have had help from sausagewinkle

I've been conditioning for 1 1/2 weeks ... the female looks very 'eggy' and has those vertical bars on her, and the male is building bubble nests - something he has never done before. I'm unsure as to whether introduce them to the spawning tank now or not though, as I understand it's supposed to be two weeks minimum.

yeh well mine did build a nest i accidently broke it and he hadnt built one till today lol

my female has a very large egg spot but dsnt have verticle lines yet but she will prob get them tomorrow when shes set loose she has submited to my male as shes in the tank but in a container

cause if u are in the uk and when they are ready ill have a male from u
