I have recently moved from south London to Minehead, where I'm told the the water is very soft.
I found and downloaded the following from the Wessex water supply pages
Total hardness values expressed in carrying units (for the last calendar year)
Calcium(milligrams per litre) 15
Calcium carbonate(milligrams per litre) 48
Degrees Clark 3.36
Degrees GermanºdH) 2.688
Degrees French(ºf) 4.8
Im planning to setup my tank (it's a 110L) in the next few weeks with live plants, and when conditioned stock with Harliquin rasboras 10/12. glowlite tetras 8, amano shrimps 4.
How satisfactory would this be ?
