Water From A Well In Tropical Tank ?

have my tank going over a week now with tap water and aqua safe, a pal of mine gets his water from a well that he got bored, can the water from his well be used in my tank, obviously it has no chlorine in it

That depends where the well is and what the water is sitting in. It may have parasites in or other certain things and the water may need to be treated first.

The lack of chlorine doesn't mean you don't have to use a water treatment, as well water is prone to having traces of heavy metals. Aquasafe or Prime will take care of it.

A lot of people use well water (my son does). I would suggest that he take it somewhere and get it tested (he maybe already has the test results from when it was drilled) just so he knows what's in it.
