I read somewhere that watercress can grow complely submerged so i was wonderin g if it would be alright for my tank. A watercress feild might look beautiful. Or will my fish just eat it all.

yeh and it grows submerged.. I was just wondering if it's tank safe. The fish store only sell floating plants and i thought a bed of watercress might be cool.

i wouldn't see any problems with using water cress in your tank... if its natural habitat is water then it should probably be ok :) if your fish start munching on it, then good for the fish ! :)

just be carefull that you get watercress thats free from pesticides or any other chems :) same SOP procedure as with all aquatic plants to be introduced into your aquarium

Watercress Nasturtium officinale is a marsh plant and will not last very long in an aquarium, even if the fish don't eat it all as soon as it is planted.
