hi people
just bought a red oscar set up a 4 ft tank
he is on is own apart from 2 plecs will that be ok ?
also what should the ph be and what temprature do they thrive ?
thanks
Imy

also hes about 2inch at the moment what should i feed and how fast does he grow

well 4 foot as in 55 g

or 4x2x2 as in 125? (or is that 75?)

if theyre common plecs they will get 2 big

ph should be from about 7-8 not too fussy

and the temp depends on how much u wanna feed him :p

from 77-80 i would say (feherenheit)

Oscars are not picky about water, so unless your parameters are off the charts they'll thrive in what you provide. They're usually aquarium or pond bred anyway.
