As title really, I need a water conditioner that also removes ammonia, I've seen Prime but at 5ml per 200 litres I'd have to be very careful using it for my 10 litre hospital tank, or even my other 30 and 60 litre tanks, I dont have any big ones. Ammo lock looks good - is it?

So what ones are there available in the UK, and which are best?

I stand to be corrected but I don't think any if them actually remove ammonia. Just make it less harmful for a time by binding it with another chemical? Apologies if this is inaccurate. I would say only cycled filters and water changes remove it.

There's nothing bottled that'll get rid of ammonia, it merely binds it into a form which is less toxic to fish but still fully usable by your bacteria.

I use Prime on my 60L, I need about 0.25ml on a 10L bucket if I remember correctly, so get yourself a pipette. It does no harm if you overdose and a bottle of Prime lasts so long it doesn't matter if you waste a bit.
