Water changing question

I thought about gettng the python water changer but I just have a normal python siphon.

For smaller tanks and provided you are physically able to carry a bucket of water you can do quite well with the manual water changer and a bucket or two. I had large tanks of 70g, 90g, 115g running and buckets were totally unfeasible. I now only have 20g, 29g and 40g tanks, but I still use the Python because I cannot lift or carry a bucket of water--a 3 gallon bucket of water weighs 30 lbs and after my surgery and given my health, impossible to deal with.

Is that your tank filling?, where and when do you add the conditioner?
Yes, that is my tank filling. I have a 12.5 G cooler in the bathtub.
I fill it with a mixture of hot & cold water, depending on where it’s going.
The conditioner is added while the cooler is filling. Then I plug in the pump & away it goes. Most of the water change system was put together with parts from Lowe’s.

I went to new & improved system after getting the 90 G. Those 5 G buckets of water weigh 40 pds each, if filled to the top. Too heavy even when not completely full.
