Water Changes

Hi I am looking for advice on treating water changes. When adding the water treatment (Aqua safe ) do i add the treatment only to the amount of water that has been taking out i.e 25% of the tank water or to the full amount of my 190 litre tank? I have always carried it out to the tank measurement is correct?

Just add enough water treatment to treat the water you're changing.

add the appropriate amount of dechlorinator to the volume of water you're pouring into the tank.
