Water Changes

Hi

I usually do a main water change say 30% on a sunday and a part change of 15-20% mid week.

I changed to sand yesterday and the tank is covered in poops. is it ok to do a small water change when the poop gets to much just enough to tidy things up.

You can do water changes as often as you like, and your fish will certainly be happy with more frequent water changes. Both of my more crowded tanks get two water changes a week.
