Water Changes Whilst Treating.

I am currently treating the tank for white spot but the Interpet instructions say not to do a water change during this period so it would be at least another 7 days from the next treatment tomorrow. Can you still do water changes whilst treating as the tank is currently cycling and need to keep up with the water changes? If you do change water do you add the amount of treatment required for the amount of water changed out or do you not bother treating it and have a weaker treatment solution?
