Water Change! O No......

Hi!

I did a 20% water change! then followed by a 10% bout 20mins after! i was trying to lower my nitrate level! then i took bout 40% ov my water out 2 fill a sepertae tank, 4getin bout my earlier water changes! now my fish are going crazy! they are swimming rely close 2 1 side ov the tank and my tiger barbs are not in a pack like usual. And my silver shark keeps trying 2 jump out. also my blue lobster is out ov its hide out and its running around like it is crazed! Help!!!!!

When was the last time you did a water change before all this, how much did you change, and what did you use to treat the water after these 3 closely spaced water changes?

What size tank are we talking here, and what make/model of filter, along with a list of the tank occupants.

Results of water tests for ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates really helps. Post numbers, this is what is used to diagnose problems.
