can anyone help and appologies for the crap pics it wouldnt stay still

thanx jack

Missing scales, and raised scales, can be caused by knocking them on ornaments in the tank, fighting, parasites, dropsy.

Get a magifying glass and check there no parasites behind the lifted scales.
is the fish bloated. As it dosn't look like it in the pic.

is there any excess mucas, or cotton wool on the fish.
Also check for red sores, and tiny red pin prick marks on the fish.

THE FISH ISNT BLOATED BUT WHEN I CHECK FOR PARASITES DO I TAKE IT OUT
ANOTHER PIC

Try and look for parasites why the fish is in the tank.

just tried he is moving too much it just looks like a cotton wool lump what shall i do

Myxaxin and pimafix.
It could be the lump that causing the scales to lift.
Also fungus can grown on dead tissue.

what shall i do shall i take him out aand kill him or flush him as will it soread to the other fish

Lumps that suddenly appear are usually bacterial.

Don't kill him, or flush him.
Try the meds I suggested.
Myxazin by waterlife, pimafix.
or esha 2000, and pimafix.
Or anti internal bacteria med by interpet, and pimafix.

just got home from skool and he looks less cotton wolly and just a bit whiter but les mouldy

Ok.
Have you added a med?

no sorry waiting for cr to be fixed they sed friday will he live what shall i do today on one side he has 1 mark instead of 2 but on other its noy fluffy it sticks out and its white and the main bit has a tad of red behind it

Ok.
it sound bacterial then.
It depends on the bacteria strain. The med might be to late.
Just hope he hangs in there till the med arrives.

Keep doing water changes.
Lower tank temp by two degree's for now.
