Washing Laterite...

Been sitting here now for around half an hour - gently agitating the laterite granuals in a bucket of cold water. The run off is now the colour of strong tea. How much clearer do I need to get it before putting in the tank? Will I wash away all the nutrients if I carry on rinsing until it runs clear (somehow I don't think it'll ever run clear!). Thanks

that will do. you'll never get it clear, once the thick brown sludge phase has passed your good to go.
