Was It A Parasite?

I found an approximately 2 inch creature climbing up one of the inside corners of my tank and want to know if this is a problem. I have no idea what it was but bought a Snakeskin Gourami 2 days a go so I don't know if it is a parasite that has come in with the fish. It appeared to be wanting to climb out of the tank and looked like a tiny grasshopper like creature which was the same colour as sand.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Right remove it and get a pic up if you can and post in tropical chit chat it could be a nympth thing dragon fly.

my guess would be dragon fly hatchlings. Parasites don't get that big do they?
