Was About Wild Saltwater Fish , Keeping

well if you mean cleaning by pestering its actually a good thing....
it is a good thing if they want to be cleaned

It can stress fish when the cleaner wrasse chase them round the tank

It is the downside to cleaner wrasse compared with cleaner shrimp and neon gobies who set up cleaner stations and wait for the fish to come to them

im just gonna leave this to go it looks like a good debate on how hard cleaner wrasse are to keep quite frankly ive never kept tropical saltwater fish in my life but i have kept estuarine species :D

Wait, now im even MORE confused, youve been acting like youve caught wrasses and surgeon fish before.... but now youve said you never kept a tropical saltwater fish? This isnt making any sense to me...

ive come into contact with many cleaner wrasses, all are greedy little buggers, myssis, brine anything they can get there "fins" on!

but i am also slightly confused by this topic !!

you do realise a cold water tank is easier said than done, well maybe not easier, but much more expensive due to the cost of cooling? So why dont you help some people out and talk about your cold water tank.

i mean as in coldwater being a tank without a heater so all you need is a tank, a filter, and a good air pump ill try to get some pics the next time i go fishing or ill find some off the web

what was your tanks temp and why do you say "kept" the fish?

because i dont have them and the tank anymore it now belongs to my turtle
yes they are awsome their wild behaviours are cool the triggerfish wont eat the shell of prawns (which was one of the foods i fed them) instead they eat around the shell and leave the empty shell behind (its nasty to clean up though :X ) i also fed them pilchards, white bait (frozen) and live sandworms

its a verry pretty fish espeicially in the aquairium
unfortunately they dont go outside their cave very often so you dont see them much
