Warning About Breeders!

so i was wondering why my female had only given birth to 2 fry in 2 days.... well it turns out i had a sneaky little fish... my gourami got smart and was waiting underneath the breeder, which is a plastic one with the v-shape in it. well this breeder has little slits at the bottom of it which aren't big enough actually for the whole fry to get through, at least not their entire bodies. well my gourami discovered that when the tail comes through to pull and gulp them up! i happened to catch him in the act with another male guppy with him... sooooo i would NOT recommend this breeder to anyone. i have now put a ziplock back around the bottom with some holes in it so he can't get to them!!!! sneaky bastard!

My dad gouramies wait by the filter to get food as it sails by! They are quite intelligent!

I used to have two gouramis that did that thing all the time when I had a plastic breeder.
