Want To Start A Planted Tank.

Hi i want to start a proper full planted tank, with floor carpet of hair grass etc...

What equipment do i all need?
what size of tank is best(smallest size i can get) for a shoal of tetras ??
and how do i go about setting it up?
what substrate do i need??
anythign else u could tell me id be greatly appreciated ive never done one of these properly before

I wouldn't do anything under 20 gallons for a good school of tetras, what type do you want anyway?? If you want a larger fish I'd get a even bigger tank.

A good lighting of 6,500k 2 watts a gallon or more is great too, and a good fine planting media.
