Want To Learn More About Different Fish Species

I'm keen to learn about the different species of tropical fish and I thought some of you guys on here could help!
 
I already know quite a bit about some of the more common species of fish i.e livebearers such as guppies and platies, but want to know more about all the other amazing species out there! (and maybe get some inspiration for my own tank, or new tanks for the future) 
 
So I thought it would be great if people could post pics of any interesting fish they own or fish species that they love and share some basic info about them.

(there is also soo much info in the index that I wouldn't know where to start!)
