Just throwing this out here, anyone from Canada who has some riccia they would mind sending me some, even exchange for something i have.. I'll pay all shipping that's no problem even give ya some labour time to set it up,
i live in british columbia canada... looked around the whole area.. and nothing : 0

thanks.

Saw some riccia at a LFS here in Columbus , Ohio....called Aquarium Adventure....it was more of a floating plant....don't know if same kind you're looking for.....

Yea that would probably be it, it's called riccia, floating plan but people just tie em down to rocks and stuff, it looks kinda mossy right

I could send you some. won't cost much postage as its light and the delivery time shouldn't be a problem as I buy most of my plants from Malaysia now and I'm in UK, so I should think about the same time.

How much are you after? I have literally a football sized amount now.

I'd sell a tennis ball size for $6USD+$2.50USDpostage on paypal if thats any good to you.

If you want it just put it in a net and float it for a week so that it can fully regenerate under your lights (and probably double in size) then tie it down to whatever you want.

n.b. It is a mix of Riccia Fluitans (the larger one that most people use) and Dwarf Riccia (Which is a lot rarer)

I am also interested in Riccia.
Although I posted mine is sell and swap forum.

Just a quick question, do they need CO2? I am trying to plant it in my experiment tank.
Currently i have 2 platies in that 10g with 25 watt incadecent light blub. And some mysterious rocks :)
I have about 7 hours of sunlight plus another 6 hours of light when sun gets weak.

Let me know if they would grow well in this condition.

It will definately grow floating although it might be a bit hard to grow as a carpet.

The bulb you are using is a marine light and if you were to want to carpet CO2 is virtually a must under the medium to high lighting yould need for carpeting Riccia.

Hey man, Yea if you could send me some that would be amazing, how many days will it be ok for from the UK, i wouldnt think too long, and i'm sure it will be held up at the border for a couple days.

I'll be able to pay ya on the 15th :0 payday... lol
that's awesome though , thanks.

Id guess about 7 days the same as Malaysia, but I won't be marking it up FRAGILE LIVE PLANTS, because its illegal to import and export without proper licences in US/CAN to my knowledge as they are a bit touchy about outside species overwhelming their waterways. lol

I'll PM you my paypal email and then get it in a jiffy bag for ya.
