I've switched out both my tanks to sand, and I love the way it looks. I only have a few fish left after a few years of having them. And i wanted to just check my final stocking plans for both the tanks.
10gal:
Planted
7 guppies(3M 4F)
Don't worry I have a local pet store who will take all the fry that don't get eaten.
20gal:
Non-planted(not enough light, its a tall, deep tank) so lotsa fake plants.
5 peppered cories(already have 2)
7(or 5?) rasboras(already have 2)
1 honey gourami(already have)
Trio of platies.
1 female betta(don't ask, shes been in with the gourami from the beginning, and will stay where she is, seeing as see can't go with the guppies and the 2 smaller tanks I have already have male bettas in them lol)
This one may be a little on the heavy stocked side, but I've been keeping fish for almost 5 years now and I have no problem making sure the water changes are kept up with.
