hi all
i have just started a community tank its 70 litres i have three neon and three black tetras in there at the moment
am planning to add other small not over "1 fish next week
but i would like to ask about getting some fish or whatever to help with the uneaten food on bottom
and no theres not dramatic ammounts of food theres just enough for some little fish or whatever to enjoy
any ideas and please nothing over "2 if possible
thanks in advance daniel

one of the Pygmy Cory species would be ideal, although it is best not to add these until the tank has been running with fish for a few weeks

A couple of mystery snails would do the job.
Try to put less food in when you feed the fish. Add a small amount and wait until they have eaten it. Then add a little bit more and wait for them to eat that. Continue adding a small amount at a time and wait until it has been eaten before giving them more. That will help to minimise uneaten food in the tank.
Also don't feed the fish first thing in the morning or last thing at night. Let them wake up and swim around for an hour or so before offering them some food. And feed them in the afternoon or early evening so they have a few hours to look for the excess uneaten food before the lights go out.

I have always gone for Albino Corries. They are hardy, only grow to 2" max and are great to watch.
Try and keep them in groups of 3 or more.

i agree with colin i love my mystery snails i try to have at least one in the tank maybe two depending on the size. they have a verity of different colors and can tollerate pretty much anything. i also have cories and khulis. but i love the snails.
khuli's also are a good pick they will eat the extra food and leave very bio load. plus there another odd looking fish. they also like groups and because they are eal like they can get into almost anything.

you could try getting a plec because mine does the job
or some cories
