Ok guys I am deciding to now really plant in my tank. What is the best kind to perchase? I keep my water temperature around 82 - 86 degress. I think my fish will like a planted tank. Thanks for the help.

I'm a big fan of moneywort.
It helps take care of some algae too.

WHY??? is your temp so high. I would lower temp to 78-80 degrees.

Anyway go to www.plantgeek.com This page has all the plants, pictures, lighting needs , everthing. Their are alot of really nice plants that require low lighting, which will keep your cost down for purchasing new lights too.

Believe it or not I've found talking with the online stores about what plants to use in my tank extremely helpful. Not only that, but they threw in a bunch of free plants after chatting with them.

I used wwww.aquarium-plant-store.com and they were full of great advice.
