Want A Small Tank

I am looking to get rid of all the guppys in my community tank, had enough of them. So I have sold 40 to the pet shop and now have about 20-30 left.I need to control their breeding and was think to set up a small tank just for them, 15-30L. was thinking about getting a baby biord with a heater then once I have finished with it put a siamese fighter in. Anyone got any other suggestions? Also can you make a baby biorb tropical or not?

Tried just splitting the tank with egg crates and having males on one side and females on the other? Could be a quik fix untill you can get rid of the rest.

Dont think that would be possible coz the tank is a jungle. Tis a good idea though and maybe worth a try, you know where i can get them from?
