Cn I keep a single discus in a 20 gallon tank with malawi cichlids?

No. The require different water levels to your malawi's and its suggested to keep discus in 6 or more. Some people would suggest a minimum of 8. What malawi's and how many do you have in your 20G?

No for me due to lack of tank size and the africans would probably kill the Discus. I also agree that Discus need to be in groups of at the very least three, preferably more like 6+.

nope definitely not m8. discus require completely different conditions from malawis and the two species are not compatible at all in the same tank. sorry....
