For the third day in a row, i've woken up to a dead fish that's been half eaten.
Twice now it's been small female preacox's and 1 small rummynose on another day.
Has anyone any idea why?
Current stats:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 40
89US Gal
Stocking:
Bosemani rainbows (6), praecox rainbows (6), rummynose tetras (6), lemon tetras (7), dwarf gourami (1), betta splenden (1), bristlenose (1), cherry barbs (13)
I know that the Bosemani's are tireless eaters and have a big appitite, but I have had the odd eaten fish before I got them, I would imagine due to the preacox's.
Currently I feed my fish around 8am, and then again at around 6pm. Should I try moving my feeding time later in the evening? Or leaving a couple of wafers in for the fish to nibble at instead of fish?
This is not good
