Waiting for fish

I am expecting my first fish, by mail. I have been waiting all day. It is killing me. I was told they would be here by 3pm today. It is 5 min to 3 now. I can't take it. What if they don't come? Will they be ok?

Still no fish. Looks like they won't be here tonigt.
Trying to contact seller, for more info. I was here all day, and there is no note, of an attempted delivery. I will post more info when I get it. I hope they will be ok. Very cold here now. That is why I paid for 1 day shipping.

its probably nothing to worry about, cantact teh seller and if he sent it it'll be there tomarrow for sure. if the seller told u it would be here today then u need to get ur shipping costs back becuse he didn't ship the fish in the timely manner he proposed to.

I don't think it is the sellers fault. He gave me the tracking #. It does say the package was checked in yesterday. He told me, they said it should arrive by 3pm today. (3/23) As long as he did pay for the 1 day shipping, I think the Post office is a fault. Since they did not hold up their end, I do think there should be a partial shipping refund. So much for "neither rain, nor sleet, etc......." THe 2 things that bother me the most are: 1. It is very cold here, I hope when the fish do arrive, they are ok. 2. I stayed home all day waiting for this package, I purposley wanted them delevered today, because I had off. I wasted my day off for nothing

Seller just E-mailed me.

"I had 3 packages going to New York Today all sent at the same time and "NONE" made it.
I checked w/ the post office and they can't find them as usual.
They have a 40hr heat pack so they should be alrite till tomorrow. When they get there please let me know if they are alrite or not.
I am very sorry for this mishap"

I would be on a tyrade and probably would ream out the poor postman/woman when he/she brought my goods.

Stuff like this happens, but it's kinda "fishy" that all 3 packages didn't make it. Someone new working at the post office? Hmm....

If you bring the slip from the box to the post office,they'll give a full refund. But try to not worry,the post office has assured me many times that the boxes don't get left outside, especially express packages. I bet your fish will be there first thing in the morning

I would imagine...
that if I shipped fish rather than purchased them at say, WalMart or somewhere like that....
and this sort of thing happened to me on a... oh, even "more than one time" basis, I'd have to make regular trips to the post office and go ballistic on them, rather than making my trips to WM that I make now.

I have fun laying into people who really deserve it.

I'm not going to boast on the po too much,because I have boxes of fish floating around out there right now as well They're not late though...not yet anyway! Why oh why did I even say anything about them at all?!?!

But anyway,I've had overnight express boxes take two days before,the fish should be fine.

There's no point in getting mad at the PO, it's usually the airports who are to blame. I've had clerks leave their stations to hand deliver boxes to me from across the city before,above and beyond the call of duty

Here you basically put whatever in a box and ship it.... just no chemicals/explosives/etc....

I bet they'll arrive ok. IME "one day delivery" generally means "it'll be there soon"
