Volume Confusion!

My new aquarium is arriving tomorrow But im confused with the specifications
Its a Rena Aqualife corner unit W120cm x H74cm X D86cm. The total volume is 379L and the volume capacity is 290L so what is the actual volume of water held in the aquarium? There is a difference of 89L which seems alot!

then it is correct 290L and thats without substrate, rocks ect ect.

Thanks! How come it has 2 different measurments on the Rena web page 379/290L?

The page I found would be the aquarium capacity with water and taking an inch from the top and measuring the volume from the inside of the tank. the one you found will be measuring it from the outside of the tank and adding water right to the possible brim of the tank. its the same as my tank, the volume is 115G but the actual aquarium volume is 100G
