did a vinegar test on a particular potential aquarium decoration rock. It fizzed a little bit when I poured it on. I can't remember. Does the slight fizz mean its not something I want in my tank?

you could actually do with some stronger acid than vinegar to be honest but we dont all have sulphuric acid in our homes.

if you have a nitrate test kit you you could have some pretty strond acid. API Nitrate Tests have two bottles, bottel 1, labelled "Caution contains hydrochloric acid" will do the trick.

vinegar is pretty weak really..

no fizzzzzz!!! if i remember correctly the vinegar being extremely acidic will fizz when added to something i belive more acidic. being that the vinegar has a ph level of i think between 2-4. can you boil the decoration you want to use?
