Video Of German Blue Rams Spawning

Here is some film of my rams, I've had two pairs just over a month now. One pair spawned straight away then again just a week ago. The other pair did not bond and the female kept getting bullied by the male, then after the other pair spawned again she must have thought it was the way to win him round



Whilst filming I noticed the other pair also laying eggs even though they had laid some just a week ago.



All eggs have been eaten now apart from the clutch laid by the more experienced pair. They were laid about 36 hours ago, I don't suppose they will last much longer

Pretty sure I'm going to have a go at setting up a breeding tank soon to try and raise some fry.

Thanks Meguro, sadly all eggs are now eaten....I'm blaming the MTS found in the spot where the eggs had been.

The male does make me smile, you can see he gets bored of baby sitting and enjoys the odd egg himself, the female heads back over and suddenly he becomes very attentive "really dear I've been very busy watching them, a few missing really!"
