This is a diffrent tank m8 and a diffrent plec... thats why its seperate post, the other plec is fine now..

I have only just noticed this on the plec so not treated yet, dont know what to treat it with as ive never seen anyhting like this :(

In one particular place its fluffy white

Osk sorry thought it was the same plec.
I have never seen anything like it either.
Looking at bacerial to parasite.
Is the fish rubbing himself.

No rubbing or flicking m8, is just very still near the bogwood

If there no rubbing, or flicking and against things in the tank I would treat it as columnaris.
Anti internal bacteria med by interpet and pimafix.
I would of gone with myxazin but your fish is bad.

The other plecs are sucking him now :( hes not dead but looking worse, only problem is i got no other tank to move him to :(

Ok thanks wilder, il treat it now, think its probably to far on but il try

Again thank you :)

Yes move him don't want the others sucking on him.
I would do some water changes on the main tank.
Steralise your equipment as desease can spread from tank to tank.

I just went to get it out with a net and its dead, looks like it has been dead a while, i think with me having 2 of them in there identical, i must have been seeing the other one thinking it was that one alive as there awlays behind the bogwood hidden so its not often you see em both out.

Looking at it now its out of the tank, i would say its been dead quite a while..

I must have made a mistake and when i think i have been seeming them both, obviously i been seeing the same one.. the dead plec is so rotten that thas all i can think of.

rip :(

Bless him.
Never known anyone to take a pic of a dead fish.
Was looking at the white never noticed he looked dead.
R.i.P.
Fungus grows on dead tissue.
I would do a water change on your tank now that you found a dead fish.

OK wilder, thanks, your information is always great so il do the water change right now :)

Done a 40% water change and also treated the tank to be 100% sure that any problems will be sorted (if any)

Thanks again wilder :)

Good luck.
Fish keeping can be a nightmare at times.
Not always a pleasure is it.

Its always a pleasure but when things like this happen, its gets you down a bit, I guess though when keeping a lot of fish, you have to expect deaths unfortunatly..

Thanks Wilder, your always a good help :)
