Okay this morning I noticed my Gourami upside down...when I turned the light on....oh man... sick fish. He is REALLY dark for some reason, he physically looks horrible. He sitting at the bottom of the tank, breathing heavily, occasionally falling over and then scurrying himself back up..only to fall over again. He's been acting like this for months now. just sorta moping around in the big tank. I moved him into the hospital tank, added some melafix and fed him (though he didnt eat) I really dont know what else to do. Uploading pics, and video.

And incase anyone is wondering. NO that is NOT his poop. That is the pleco's that was in there earlier (the chiclids were eating his fins off so he was in rehab :p)

Okay, maybe there wont be a video because it wont convert. Anyways, I gotta go to the stables and take care of my horses. I'll be back later tonight. please help <3 Rachel

Nevermind.....somehow the filter protection thing fell off...and sucked him up...now hes dead. :byebye: :rip: :-( :-(

your gourami looks to me like he was slightly bloated and that tells me internal paracites/bacteria. he showes "bending" in the manner of "head towards tail" which gives me the idea of swimbladder problems as well as him sinking and looking like he struggles to keep his ballance.

my conclusion is swimblader problems caused/resulted in an internal infection. using Interpet number 9 "anti internal bacteria medicen" would of been a good place to start and minimal feeding.
cleaning out your hospital tank after each problem is nessasary, the waste from your pleco could of housed harmfull bacteria. remove all the water from the tank before adding a new ill fish would of been a place to start then disinfecting.
