Very New to Fish Tanks.

Hi there,

Just want to share with all of you that to have a fish tank has always been one of my interests, but i have never really had chance to get one. I recently ammended that situation and went through months of trial and error to find out the basics about keeping fish. Yes i lost a few rounds of fish (something the pet shops i think are happy about as i gave them good revenue). anyway i seemed to have learned a bit as i went on while correcting one problem and discovering another, it was a journey of discovery for me. About 2 weeks back i noticed a few smaller things in the tank, upon inspection i found that i had babies! Yeehaa, i am sure you can understand my excitement. Anyway this gave me new hope to continue the hobby and share this type of excitement with anyone who is also very new to the scene and perhaps learn from those of you out there that are old hands at this hobby.

Thank you for the fast welcome, its appreciated. AS i am new to this forum thing may i ask where i would post a question like "which South African Indigenous Fresh Water Fish are Suitable for Tanks?" (A pet interst of mine as I am South African).
