Very Colorful Fish

i need fish in my tank, very colorful fish, not cichlids but fish that are so colorful that they look like saltwater fish. so if anybody knows any fish that colorful i would appreciate it.

How big is your tank or is it the 30 gallon with 14 goldfish in it as per your signature?

if you want tropical fish then you can't have goldfish in your tank.

Blue neon goby? Peacock goby? Purple pencilfish? Coral red pencilfish? Celestial pearl danio? Forktail blue-eye? Red-stripe killifish?
 
Just depends on what kind of tank you want to have, how hard you are willing to look for your fish, and how much you are willing to spend.  Because, although black and white, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer fish than a zebra plec.

I'm a little biased, but what about a betta splendens?  Some fancy guppies come in stunning colours too, although I don't recommend combining the two species. 
 
30 gallons is a fair size, so you've got a lot to play with.  I know the choice can be overwhelming, but have a think about some of the things girard suggested, have a browse through some of the fish profiles on this site and others, and post a list of species you like.  Plenty of knowledgeable people will then be able to advise you on compatibility, care and so on.
