Hi
Can anyone help me?
My partner is away and I am not really involved in the fish thing (I just like to admire them) I haven't got any details of the nitrate/ammonia etc readings.

My problem is one of the two mollies is very ill.
I described over the phone to my guy that the fish has a covering of white powder and it seems to have lost weight (as opposed to the other mollie) he thought it could be velvet so I have used a treatment for this. But last night I told him that it appears to be around the mouth as well. He thinks that I may have treated them for the wrong thing.

My question is can I now add some anti fungus and mouthrot treatment or would this be a grave mistake.

I hope all this makes sense and someone can advise.

If they look like they have been sprinkled in salt that's whitespot, and if there is a fluffy appearance on the mouth that mouth fungus columnaris.

Hi Wilder Thanks for reply - do you think treating them for mouth rot whilst the velvet treatment is in there is a good idea?

They are both Interpet products.
