Hello all

I searched and couldn't find a post on this. I was curious as to what veggies my mollies can eat? I have 1 sailfin black molly and 2 dalmation. I currently feed them tropical flake and the occasional cooked shelled pea, but iv read they need more than that?

Thanks :)

hum they can eat tried up baby shrimp i feed mine that sometimes though i would have some one else suggjest things, i am sure more people will comment and give you info but peas are all i know

Peas, lettuce, cucumber, carrot, and other things can be fed. It is good for fish to have a varied diet, I don't see why vegtables are NEEDED as you say. Flake from a good brand provides most nutients.

If you feen lettice then you need to blanch it first (30 seconds in boiling water)

I am a huge fan of spinach. If it's good enough for Popeye it's good enough for my fishies :)

To feed any leafy veggies simply pop them in the freezer for at least an hour and defrost before feeding. I find it way easier to keep a sandwich bag of mixed leafy greens in the fridge than to go Gordon Ramsay every time my fish want a snack.

mollies can be feed vegitables,it's very nice to know.
I belong to a very strictly vegitarian family,
but i have to feed my fishes those floating balls of fish meat.

it would be nice to know which vegitables can i feed and how to feed.
