Vegetarian Fish

In my tank, I currently have:

2 x Silver Dollars
2 x Parrot Fish
2 x Tinfoil Barbs
1 x Clown loach
1 x Catfish

I've put plants in before, but they get munched almost immediately. Last time when I put in a moss ball, it went within an hour!

I've been doing a lot of reading up, and going to invest in some java fern and anubias as this supposedly won't get eaten. I'm also going to remove the silver dollars.

Once the dollars are gone, am I going to be ok using other plants or will my other fish munch on them?

Not sure about the parrot fish, but the others should be fine with plants.

Before the dollars arrived, teh parrots were fine with the plants, so I'm not too worried about them... The other worry is the 5-6 inch long tinfoils!

tinfoils eat plants? well i think they do not to sure though.

when they get big your tank won't be able to cope with them btw they get 14" if you didn't know.
