Hi all, I posted in the newbie section, but I also wanted to post here since this is where I will be spending most of my time. I am interested in all live bearers, but right now i am concentrating on and have mostly show guppies and variatus.

If there is anyone out there who kows of any good sources for variatus of any kind, or good quality show guppy stock, let me know! or any good sources for info pertaining to either!

Thanks!

Thanks for your post. I appreciate it! And yes, variatus platies, sorry!
Also, nice pic to the left, there. Do you ride? Im an Equestrian Science major. : )

These sites are great! Thanks for taking the time to dig them up! I am at William Woods University, as an Equestrian Science Major. What breed do you have and what seat do you prefer? also, lol, is that a piccy of one of your horses? He/she (though I'm guessing its a he) is beautiful!

Thanks again!

Also, the second link didnt work. it came up saying someting about dangerous cookies. lol. thanks again!

I have Minis, Belgian, Halflinger, and Throughbred/Belgian cross. :) I ride English...but for long trail rides, I prefer Western. :p

Nope, not one of my horses...but he is a stallion, so you guessed correctly on the 'he' part. :)

Here's a couple of my horses, if you want to see them...
Pooh, my cutest little Mini:

And Goldie, my Belgian:

Can't figure out why the second link won't work...it works fine for me. Maybe try just typing in www.petsolutions.com then going to the Aquarium fish section? As they really have some pretty Variatus there (Swordies too!). :)

Aww. They are both adorable. Is Goldie a Gymkhana horse? I have never owned my "own" horse and I'm 27, 21 of those years spent riding! Lol, I ave never had to, though. I rode with a hunter/jumper barn from 6 years old, then switched to a saddle seat barn, and now I ride western mostly. Hunter/jumper is my second seat. I also do a lot of pleasure driving, and it's one of my main focuses.

sorry, once I get started talking about horses, It's all over! : )

Nope, she's a vaulting horse. Though she has been used in gymkhana before. :)

Ahhh, so you drive! I've always wanted to try that...so we're teaching Pooh to be a little driving Pony. Haha, it will be so cute.

Mini Driving is a hoot! but some of them are really awesome cart horses because they are so tolerant!keep me informed on your progress! Yes, I drive mostly American saddlebreds. I also do QH pleasure driving, which is a whole different thing, lol. I enjoy the fancy-ness of the whole pleasure driving thing. We have a Fresian here at school, and I have my beady little eyes on him to show him this semester, if they will allow me to. lol.

Fresian.... :hyper: Can I come steal him?!

Heh...but yeah, Pooh pulling a cart is going to be so funny....and cute. I will keep you updated! Right now we are just learning how to longe without yanking Anna's arm out...but we're getting there! :D

Do you have any pictures of the horses you ride/drive/use? I'd love to see them!

And wow...this topic really went off the original subject ...but talk about horses always does that. :p
