Well, out of my 9 Variatus fry, 7 were males.
They have been seperated from the females for a couple of months now, and have been growing up in the 30g growout. They'll be moved to the 90g next week, but they have grown up so well! I got a few semi-good shots of them today, so here's some of my little ones.
Nice butt

And the one Maculatus fry in with them:
I apologize for the yucky pictures, they are fast little dudes!
They also look a lot better bigger, but I didn't want to kill the dial-uppers.

The two females I got out of the batch are looking more like Strawberry Variatus. Perhaps they are a mixture. These fry came out much brighter and more colorful then their parents, while the females came out duller.
