My lord! My tank looks dreadful post-move (quite discouraging). I just got rid of the bunched subulata I had been keeping. It has never done well in the tank, as you always have to pull off rottingstrands, so I replaced it with some Italian Vallisneria that I found in a local store. So, I have some Jungle and Italian in there. The plants are somewhat near the outflow of the filter, but not directly so. Is water movement a big problem with these plants?
Secondly, I had to cut all of the bad leaves off of my sword. This amazon has one prestine leaf left, and I imagine it will take some time for it to come back. I cut them off at the bottom, as far down as I could get.
So, after the move, the only plants that were unaffected were my anubias. The crypts are coming back the quickest. They melted down and are returning with ferver. I cut my lotus runners all off...trimmed them down to almost nothing, and they are taking a while to get going. I added some dwarf sag to my left foreground...I'll see how that goes. I just hope they don't do as badly as the subulata. The rotala is taking forever to get going, by the way (walicii). Haven't followed up on the second tank yet because my first one looks so dreadful.
