Vallisneria

Hi there,
I am new to plants completely. I have bought a Vallisneria (pass on the sub-class) and was wondering if it is possible to make more plants from this one, instead of buying more?

Vallisneria tends to make runners and so it should be quite easy to propogate as long as it's in a rich substrate.
