Vallisneria And Flourish Excel

I have read that adding flrouish excel to your tank could kill and 'melt' vallisneria species. I was wondering if this is true and does anyone have any experience with this?

I heard this before also heard it can kill crypts, too.

most of my tank is crypts and vallis, so im reluctant to use it

i use it with vallis nana, with no probs what so ever.

I overdosed my planted tank with Flourish excel to help get rid of some algae issues. My crypts and riccia melted a bit but bounced back after i stopped overdosing and started using it as directed.

Same here, I use it with my Jungle Val and have had no problem. Hell, I even double dosed on excel to get rid of a hair algae problem I had.
