I have some red rooted floaters in a 10 gallon and a 20 long. The 10 gallon has regular water in it and the 20 long has r o d i water. Both tanks have strong lighting as well as the Fluval stratum substrate. I have been taking half a tank worth of red rooted floaters to my local fish store for over a month. We have become their go-to supply for these plans. The funniest thing is my 20 long is only stocked with three chili Rasbora and maybe six shrimp and the 10 gallon only has one beta in it, so it's the light and the substrate that I think are feeling the growth on the plants. It's too late to take picture right now but if I get a chance tomorrow. The roots on these guys are really red.
