Vallis Sending Runners To Surface?

Hi guys

My vallis is sending long thin runners to the surface not leaves just like a long peice of string with a little 'thing' on the end.

Ive never seen this before are they flowers or something? what causes it to do this as ive not ssen it happen before?

Yep thats it although that one looks like its opening mine is still closed..

It has sent two so far growing extremely fast.

Looking forward to seeing it open.

Is this Jungle val. (Giant val)? I got lots of it and I now see baby leaves as a bunch near the old giant ones, are they running on gravel?

Not sure which strain of val it is but no there not new plant runners.. they run from the base of the val to the surface of the water have found out they are flowers
