Vain Fish...

Err ok I have 3 young silver sharks in my main tank and since introducing them they keep mainly to the end of it where the heater is and its almost as if they're seeing themselves in the mirrored glass reflection...what is this behaviour? Are they admiring themselves??? )

Doubful. More likely they see the reflection and think it's another fish. Not sure is they are capable of recognising an image of themselves. Maybe someone can tell me if I'm wrong.
So saying I have a lady betta who earnt the name Vanity due to her constantly posing to the other tank members when she first arrived. She doesn't do it anymore but the name stuck. And she is very pretty.

On a more serious note, a lot of fish are just interested in seeing themselves, they might just think it's another fish that just happens to copy their every move

Thanks I had to argue bigstyle with my partner when we got to redecorating the living rm as my purple obsession was kinda taking over the flat...! Still as you can see I won!
