V2 Skimmer 1000

Turned on skimmer, and the water goes into the skimmer down the middle inlet in the skimmer... now were the neck bends at the top and connects to the straight water is shooting from the join..

Now can i take this thing apart, or will i break it by doing so?.. as it at all looks glued together.. i dont want to snap anything off.

I dont know this skimmer but could it be where the cup meets the main body of the skimmer?

its the tmc v2 1000?

Certanly is yep.. Its on now.. though seems to working ok.. Tried gentley twisting the main pipe coming in and mangaged to isolate the spring leak to one side.. though thankfully the leak is within the chamber.. bizzarre as it sounds.. Obvioulsy my concern is i would lose the pressure that the pump provides.. Maybe the salt build up will stop the leak. If not i'll purshase a different kind of skimmer.
