V2 800 Cleaning Venturi

We have been running a v2 800 skimmer for about 12 weeks, now though it is not skimming as it had been, reading the instructions the venturi part is removable for easy cleaning, tried yesterday for 1 hour and still didn't succeed. Can anyone help?

We have cleaned the pump and the air pipes, so the venturi is the only thing we can think of

Soak it in a solution with water and a little vinegar. Then try and blow down the tube. Its possible you have calcification in there. Its also possible that your skimmer just needs tweaking.

i find blowing through the air inlet gives it a little clean and brings the performane back a bit, also keep the cup and neck clean this will increase the efficiency.

also take a look at the pump, i find i need to clean this pretty regular to keep the flow up.
