Fish Aficionado
Well.. we headed over to Petsmart today. Of course I had to go and look at the bettas. Well fiance wanted to get 2 killifish.. ok cool whatever. He tells me he's gonna go walk around some and leaves me there to get the fish.
And well.. long story short, before I knew what I was doing, I was telling the the guy I wanted 2 bettas as well.
Seriously.... the words... "and I'd like 2 bettas" came out of my mouth without the thought even coming into my head. It just popped out.
So yep.... 2 new bettas.
Even though I said I wasn't going to be adding another girl.. I got one. She's really cute though, but she's ALOT smaller than the other 3. I didn't realize just how big they've gotten.. and only after a week! The bossy one is the only one that's chased her any. The other 2 don't even seem to care.
All the pink and little one care about is if I'm going to feed them or not.
Here are some pics of her. Under the flash she shows up more blue, but w/ the aquarium light, she has a dirty brown coloring w/ blue tint.
I took these pics right when she went into the tank. She's sporting some serious stress stripes right now though. Hoping she'll calm down. The other girls really aren't bothering her... I just don't think she's used to the situation she's in.
And the other betta I got is another CT male. He's really pretty and really BIG. He's already 2inches long, not including his fins. He's a very beefy male. I hope he gets bigger!
I think he can see his reflection in the back of the tank, which is why he's flaring in this pic.

Yay heh.. she's been looking all around the tank since the lights have gone off and Rex keeps looking through the divider probably wondering how to get over to the other side
