From where is this plant native? I have some plants growing in flood areas in my property, In florida, that look much like this plant.

According to Wikipedia it is native to Burma, China, India, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.

Well, unless someone moved me when I was asleep. I am still in Forida. There seem to be many aquatic and bivarius plants around here...wonder if it would be cool to start a Florida tank with plants sunfish and flags (killies). Would be cool to be able to collect.

Just because it's originally from there doesn't mean it is now an invasive species in South Florida. If we can get Burmese pythons breeding, a little Utricularia Graminifolia is almost guaranteed to find a little spot on our waterways. I think everything grows down here eventually.

Do you have a picture of said plant?
