Using Sera Costapur

I am treating one of my flame tetras with Sera Costapur, but it says to darken the tank and increase the temperature and airflow. Will it be alright for the rest of my fish with the light being off all the time?

I have 2 flame tetras, 2 swordtails, 1 black molly (other passed away ) and a fighting fish

Don't be, they will probably enjoy the darkness, and feel very comfortable
